Fractional CAIO
Chief AI Officer thinking —
without the executive hire.
Every business now makes AI decisions: which platform, what to automate, where the guardrails go, what it should all cost. A fractional CAIO gives you a standing seat at your leadership table for those calls, for a fraction of what the title costs to hire.
AI decisions are
leadership decisions.
They shouldn't be made by whoever happens to like technology, and they shouldn't wait for a hire most businesses can't justify. We sit on your side of the table and make the calls with you.
- 01
We keep up for a living.New models, new tools, new fine print, filtered down to the two or three moves that matter for your business, not a firehose of AI news.
- 02
A standing seat, not a one-off consult.Your CAIO is in the room for planning, budgeting and vendor conversations, when the decisions actually get made, not after.
- 03
Independent of the tools. We are AI agnostic, Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT, so the recommendation follows your business, not a reseller agreement.
- 04
Operators, not theorists. We run our own shop on these tools, and our CEO has spent 30+ years building and running technology businesses. Advice from experience, not a slide deck.
What your CAIO owns.
The four responsibilities a full-time Chief AI Officer would carry, delivered fractionally.
AI strategy and roadmap
A plan tied to your business goals and sequenced by payback, reviewed on a regular cadence, revised as the landscape and your business change.
Vendor and platform decisions
Platform selection, licensing, contract reviews and tool evaluations, someone on your side of the table who knows what these products actually do.
Governance and risk ownership
Your AI use policy, monitoring and compliance posture owned at the executive level, so governance has a name attached, not a committee.
Leadership reporting
A plain-language read for owners, partners or the board: what AI is being used, what it is saving, where the risks sit, and what to do next quarter.
The function —
without the salary.
Built for businesses where AI decisions carry real money and real risk, but not the budget for a full-time executive to own them.
- A named executive owner for AI, one person accountable, reachable, in the loop
- Decisions made faster, with someone who has seen the options before
- Leverage in vendor conversations you don't get negotiating alone
- A roadmap your leadership team actually understands and agreed to
- Continuity, the strategy survives staff changes and tool changes

FAQ
Questions we hear first.
What do your AI services cost?
The lunch & learn and AI assessment are free. The AI Adoption Package is a one-time flat rate by company size, $3,000 under 10 employees, $5,000 under 25, $8,000 under 50. Workflow and agent builds are quoted flat-rate per project, and Managed AI is $150 per user per month.
Is our data used to train someone else's model?
No. We deploy business-grade tools inside your own tenant or account under your own agreements, and we commit to no training on client data. You own your policies, workflows and data, and we export them cleanly if you ever leave.
Which AI platform will you put us on?
Whichever genuinely fits. We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and deploy Copilot, and we use Claude and ChatGPT in our own business daily. The recommendation follows your stack and your licensing costs, not a vendor quota.
Do we need to switch IT providers to work with you on AI?
No. Our AI practice runs as a standalone engagement alongside your current provider. If you would rather consolidate, our managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity services are here, but that is your call, not a condition.
Where should a business our size start with AI?
With the free lunch & learn, two hours with your whole team, tailored to how your people work, followed by a free assessment of how AI is already being used across your business. From there you decide whether the Adoption Package makes sense.
